This month, let’s talk about Legislation Awareness. We’ve had a lot of chatter online about the ESTF scholarship. So, let’s just look at the legislative process to find out more about how to be a proactive participant in our government. I can tell you what I think–but, I would rather show you the tools to come to your own conclusions, then we can talk about that.
This session will include:

- Understanding how the legislative process works
- Using the State House Legislature website
- Example Legislation: Identifying the sponsor of the bill, the Committee where it has been referred, and how to contact those representatives.
The sessions will include a presentation which will be recorded and made available for replay. Then, there will be an open Q/A for those who attend the live session, if you have a specific legislation that you want to look at as well.
